Michele Stackhouse

Michele Stackhouse and Steve Stackhouse were work colleagues long before they were husband and wife, which made his invitation to join the firm easy to say yes to. She came on as marketing director, moved into the operations manager role where the need was clear, and has run the day-to-day infrastructure here ever since.

What that looks like in practice is everything that happens between a strategy session and a signed account. Michele handles client onboarding, account opening and transfer paperwork, and the compliance documentation that keeps the business running accurately and on time. Her teammates describe her as consistent, efficient, and reliable, and she takes all three as the highest compliments.

Her approach to client interaction goes further than processing paperwork well. A few years ago, a client came to the office after being targeted by a financial scam. Beyond the practical work of securing her accounts, what the client needed was to feel that the people helping her were entirely in her corner, without judgment and without making a hard situation harder. Michele describes that experience as one of the clearest reminders that how the team shows up for someone matters as much as any outcome they deliver.

Michele grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and now lives in Hershey with Steve and two cats named Bella and Ranger. She runs, though that undersells it considerably. In 2022, she and her daughter Samantha completed the Dopey Challenge at Walt Disney World, four races across four consecutive days: a 5K, a 10K, a half-marathon, and a full marathon. She also volunteers with Girls on the Run of Lancaster and Lebanon, a youth development program that uses running to build self-respect and healthy habits in young girls.
